We recently had the pleasure of sampling the products from the Italian delicatessen online store Cavolobianco. Sarah and Raphael sent us a lovingly put together package that made us happy as soon as we unpacked it. On this rainy February day, the authentic flavors of Italy took us on a culinary journey to the summery south.
We tasted the two lemonades in lemon ginger and rose flavors straight away. And not just like that, but as a spritz with Prosecco, ice and lemon. The drink reminded us of hot summer days in Italy, when you just sit back and enjoy life.
Our quick spritz recipe for 4 people:
1 bottle of Prosecco
2 bottles of Specialità Siciliane lemonade
1 lemon, cut into slices
Ice cubes
Place the ice cubes and lemon slices in the glasses. Fill half full with Prosecco and top up with the lemonade. Enjoy a piece of Italy!
